Jordan Miller Is Ready for His Breakout Season

Jordan Miller concluded last season with averages of 10.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 2.3 assists on 53/35/78 shooting splits. He will now be entering year 4 and clipper nation can expect a leap year incoming for the homegrown talent.

Drafted 48th overall in 2023, Jordan Miller is already the longest tenured clipper pending the Kawhi Leonard trade. This may raise his confidence on the court knowing he is not a young cat trying to fit in with the older stars on the team anymore as the new direction of the team will allow him to flourish with less of a leash.

Averaging double-digit points in only 22 minutes per game on an older team as a player on his rookie contract who wasn’t even in the rotation to start the season is a very impressive feat. In fact, in games playing 24+ minutes, Miller averaged 13.7 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 3.0 assists. With the potential loss of Kawhi Leonard, expect the younger Clippers to put up more scoring. If the Clippers are unable to acquire Peyton Watson or retain Bennedict Mathurin, Jordan Miller’s statline should increase much more significantly.

Despite only entering the fourth season of his career and being considered a young piece on the Clippers, Jordan Miller is actually older than Darius Garland (by 3 days). He just hasn’t been given enough opportunity so far to prove he can also be a super solid player in this league. Jordan Miller proved in the 2025 NBA Summer League that when given the ball, he can shine in that role and play winning basketball. He was the runner-up for the Summer League MVP to Jalen Wilson (who made Second-Team that summer to Jordan Miller’s First-Team) with averages of 25.4 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.4 steals, and 0.8 blocks.
